We here at PhillyReign.com love bringing you the news and humor all rolled in to one.  The main difference between us and the rest of the collective Flyers world is that we are fans first and foremost.  With that said, I thought we would do something a little different.  Give you a background on just who we are and Why the Flyers are so important to us.

I began rooting for the Flyers as a child.  For as long as I can remember two things were taught in my house. Respect and Flyers hockey.  The two were, at times, tough to keep together. After all, you have to be pretty passionate to root for the Flyers.  I've been there through the ups and downs the good times and the bad.  From the Legion of Doom to the LSD line and so on and so forth. 

I wanted to share with you my 5 favorite players throughout my 28 years as a Flyers fan, and the reasoning behind them.  I'm sure some of them are exactly like yours, but some may surprise you.  Without further adieu I give you my 5 favorite Flyers to don the orange and black.
