Derek Jeter, just six hits away from the historic #3,000, has been placed on the 15-day disabled list. I feel bad for the guy. He hates not playing, and I don't blame him. I thought he should be put on the DL, but I felt bad about thinking so. 

I mean, how could I not? Throughout my entire life, Jeter has been on the Yankees - he HAS BEEN the Yankees. I have grown up watching Derek Jeter, and thanks to him, I have grown up watching the best team in all of sports. I think it is only fair to do a little tribute to the Jeet, just because I feel like it.
