Sorry. Didn’t intend to throw in the towel. I went back to Ohio for the game and didn’t get back until late last night.
I’m standing by my original claim that Ohio State did shock USC until about the last 5 min of the game. I was seated directly behind the USC bench and there was no question, by midway through the first half, the attitude of the USC players had changed. Their heads were hanging much lower then they were when they first came out on the field.
USC didn’t win this one so much as the Buckeyes lost it. As I speak, Ohio State fans are ripping apart the coaching staff for not finishing off USC when they had the chance (end of first half, both late possessions in the fourth quarter). I’ll be expanding on the topic later on www.thebuckeyeblog.com.
As for “who am I?” I’m the owner of The Buckeye Blog. This will be my fourth season blogging about The Buckeyes. And yes, this is my first time posting on Fans vs. Fans.
