You make a good point mentioning Darvish’s big size, something that most Japanese pitchers don’t have. He still doesn’t have nearly enough experience to be payed over $51 million, though. Also, pitchers get injured way easier than position players. Especially position players that are extremely thick and muscular like Cespedes.
