So he wears sunglasses indoors…so the hell what! I promise you he is much less of a prima donna than Kobe, or even Paul Pierce. Yes Tito, I said it. He is one of the best, if not the best players in the game, why shouldn’t he act confident. I actually find him to be way less of a prima donna than he probably should be. Fine, he didn’t congratulate Orlando after their loss, he was upset, it was a dick move, not the end of the world. I think he handles himself pretty damn good for a 24 year old superstar with the world at his fingertips.

The only person who should wear their sunglass at night or indoors is Corey Hart. Yes, Kobe, Paul along with a large number of professional athletes are pre-madonnas. After watching a clip on ESPN News where LeBron stated that a max contract is far less important than being a winner made him a bit less than of a pre-madonna to me, but at the sametime that makes the Knicks far less attractive destination for LeBron next season. He did state that money is important so the dollar signs when put in front of him may change his mind about winning being the most important to him, but with a few other teams having the ability to give him the same amount of money the Knicks could be at the bottom of the list with the talent they currently have on their roster. Every player loves playing at MSG with the history, the city and what not, but there are other NBA cities with the same if not better history that would fit LeBron just as well.
What I do know is that next year is already effecting the Cavaliers season right now.

If the debate is that Lebron James will leave for NYC because of the money. I agree. It’s a business and that’s what free agency is about. It’s what all sports are about. It’s why many of these athletes are unlikable and this is where I agree with you Tito. The money has changed everything. Why would LeBron care about the working man who helps pay his salary in Cleveland? That was sadly a different time. This kid was being hyped by ESPN since he was in high school and he was made a millionaire a long time before he ever deserved it.

You guys act as if at one time, athletes were so concerned with “the working man” who pays their salary. There have been arrogant athletes since before all of us were born. Sure, the money and internet coverage has made the less accessible, but let’s not make Lebron out to be worse than the others. I think we are straying from the main debate here, but I don’t understand why you guys are saying that he must stay to show loyalty to Cleveland…it boggles my mind really. If you guys were working at a job, and had a chance to get out of that job and go somewhere you wanted to go, for whatever reason, would you not go to stay loyal to your employer? If the new job made you happier, again, for whatever reason, you’d go to that job.

What makes you so sure that place that is LeBron’s “happy place” is New York" or Madison Square Garden? Lets not make his criteria his love for the Yankees or MSG or he can make the most money there, because that is just not true. Maybe it’s South Beach with a Captin America (Dwayne Wade) to his Batman or even Chicago where he is lobbying to have Jordan’s number retired league wide.
If you want to stay on point of the initial claim, lets let your true feelings be known. Not that you know LeBron of feel that he is headed to New York in 2010, but that you hope and dream that he is. Which is all well and good, because every NBA fan should hope for as good as player as LeBron is to play on their fav team.
