This is a very good debate and a very close call, L.T. must always be in the mix when comparing the NFL’s greatest RB’s! There are many more as well, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, Emmit Smith, etc….
Lt never fineshed up what he started, at least in the playoffs. the bolts would not have been in the playoffs without lt, but by the time we got there he was usually done. this year i felt norv did not use him correctly, try hitting lt with screen passes on madden , and you will see what he can still do in open space. overall- typical san diego bullsh#$, i will go to my grave saying DAMN CHARGERS…

We can’t forget where Tomlinson usually was when his team needed him the most in the playoffs, on the sidelines, injured? When the stakes were the highest he could always be found pouting on the sidelines behind that tinted helmet.
