No, I dont remember that decade because it was the 70s and I wasn’t alive yet, Gramps. And Jim Fassel brought us to a Super Bowl, I GUARANTEE that’s more than any of your Jets coaches have done/ will ever do.
and Grogan, we keep the traffic on that side of the Hudson.
Jim Fassel knew one thing and one thing only….How to wear Hats
Being that in Jets history the fans still use the name Joe Namath as the franchises saving grace, immediately spells B-A-D. Namath was far better at modeling and partying than he ever was at football.
Though I loathe the Giants, their history and quality of play is much better than the Jets could ever dream of. When I was younger and playing yard football never did we pretend to ever be a Jet, but there were plenty of Giants that kids wanted to emulate, i.e Lawrence Taylor (minus the crack), Mark Bavaro, Dave Meggett, but never Phil Simms. He was almost as boring as a player as he is a terrible CBS brodcaster.
What I don’t understand is how in such a large city in New York that both of their football teams play their home games in New Jersey?
