There is no way that they should Trade Brady to start Cassell

Whynot? Brady is a HUGE question to come back healthy and Cassel is having a fantastic year for a player that hasn’t started since HIGH SCHOOL. I am not saying Cassel is going to be anywhere NEAR Brady when it is all said and done. But if they don’t fix that defense they won’t be competing for anything other than the last wild card spot each year. And trading Brady brings the highest reward.

I think the Pats would ask for more then anyone would be willing to pay too.

Cassel May be traded before Brady….Cassel performance today was great 3rd or 4th 300 plus day this year. If Cassel takes them to SB there will be major decision to make

I look for Brady to be the starter next year and Matt backing him up, like the good old days :)

Problem with trading Cassel is that they first have to sign him and then it is a risk if someone doesn’t take him.

Me too. But I also think Brady may NEVER be the player he was last season. Knee injuries affect people in different ways and I would not be willing to bet on Brady coming back and having another year like 2007.

I hate the cheatriots but if the chatriots trade away Tom Brady that would be the stupidist move in the history of the N.F.L. …how do you justify trade a 3 time Super Bowl champ and M.V.P. In favor of a guy who has a great season. Don’t let that fool you…the coach bill billacheat has done a unbeliveable job considering the situation…Cassell is good QB but any other system he would be average at very best!…doesn’t matter anyway the Cheatriots won’t even make the playoffs….if they do one and done GURANTEE! Anyone thinks there going to the SB needs to check into re-hab

I am not saying it wouldn’t be a bold move but the Patriot DON’T need Tom Brady to win. And if they don’t do something soon they are going to be so old on defense that they won’t win 8 games.

Yes Tom Brady is way better than Cassel but Cassel is good enough to win in this league. It isn’t always about who is BEST at a position sometimes it is about who FITS best on a team. And Cassel would fit better IF the Pats could get multiple draft picks for Brady. They need to get younger.
