Oregon will win. Look at the schedule…the only possible loses are USC, UCLA, Wash, and OSU. USC is in a rebuilding stage, and won’t contest for the title. Florida is a great example of arrests=success. After getting tons of players in trouble they went on to win NC’s and SEC titles.
Oregon will repeat, with Thomas or Costa…we don’t even need Masoli.

Ducks are takin it…no question. I say we go 10-2, losing to USC and Washington. But the Beavs, Trojans, Bruins, and Huskies all fall behind the Ducks.

It won’t be a landslide, especially with all of those Huskies returning and improving by the hour, as well as Jacquizz Rodgers ready to finish with perfection, but the Ducks will take this conference. UCLA will undergo vast improvements, Arizona will lose its power, the Sun Devils’ future looks a little brighter, and those dam workers will create havoc in a few games.
Oregon wins the PAC-10 in a close one. It should be very entertaining. Good stuff Caleb, it’s odd hearing your web came debate, and not reading your work. Keep it up man.

DO NOT compare Oregon to Florida. For one thing, Chip Kelly is not Urban Meyer. They aren’t in the same league in terms of college coaching. Two, Florida never lost a key player to arrest. Oregon had its stars get arrested. That’s a major difference. You didn’t see Harvin and Tebow and Spikes and Haden etc. getting arrested.

Also, keep in mind that the talent level that UF has is vastly superior to Oregon’s. You are a homer so you’ll argue me, but the talent in the state of Florida coming from high school is the best in the country (Texas and Cali can make arguments but that’s about it) and Florida recruits the best nationally with top classes every year. That makes a difference when you want to compete yearly. If Florida were to lose top stars to arrests (which they don’t), they have a much deeper talent pool to replace them with. As far as the Pac 10, if they don’t have those stars, they won’t win. Enough said.

And I will compare Oregon to Florida…Chip Kelly almost won coach of the year last year…Urban Meyer wasn’t even in the running. Florida did lose key players to arrests…maybe not superstars, but there were a lot of players going down.
We will win. Even without Jeremiah Masoli. Costa and Thomas were competing for the starting job every week last year…and it was always close. I would be proud to have Thomas lead us next year. Prepare to eat your words, the Ducks are taking the Pac!

You do realize that Urban Meyer has won National Coach of the Year twice right? Once you are up on that pedestal, you aren’t going to win every year. The dude went 13-1 last year with immense pressure from being the returning champs. And those 2 shiny things on his fingers, those are called CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS!! You are telling me that since Chip Kelly ALMOST won coach of the year that he is on Meyer’s level? Dude, he’s good, but come on! The thing is, I like Chip Kelly, but don’t compare him to Urban Meyer. Meyer was voted by numerous sources including the Sporting News and Sports Illustrated as “Coach of the Decade”. This is truly an elite coach who is in rarified air. The crazy thing is, he’s kept up his level of extreme success in the SEC, the toughest football conference in the country.
The Ducks may do alright in the Pac 10, which has been down of late, but take it this year, because teams like UCLA, Arizona, Washington, and Stanford are on the rise. Believe in your team to win your conference. I have no problem with that, but don’t be so blind to believe that Oregon is an elite program on the level of Florida.

Yes the Crap-10 is not even in the same league as the SEC…You said it best when you tried comparing the Ducks to Florida. But what have the Quack Attack done? Maybe Joey Harrington will come back to school and lead you to the promise land. So you have a question mark at QB. Oregon State has better weapons returning. Expect many losses this year Duck fans..
