Why I too believe the Celtics will raise Banner 18. The reason why? Because they have the best pure point guard in the NBA. Do no even try to compare Deron Williams, Derrick Rose, Chris Paul or any other guard. Because they all look for their offense first. Which one of the aforementioned has had such tremendous growth in such a short time? None of them make their teammates better. Put Rondo on any team and he will thrive and make his teammates better. Not even Jason Kidd showed that kind of progress in his first four seasons. Watch classic replays of Cousy and you can see the symbiotic movements they have. The syncopation of herky-jerky moves that leaves defenders helpless and have their teammates busting their butts to be on the receiving end of their assists. Rondo will be the single reason that top-tier free agents will want to come to the Celtics
