Adding to this, Cleveland would be better suited picking a guy in the second or third round and getting some guys with immediate impact ability. With 10 draft picks, they need to keep them all or possibly add more because the team has alot of holes. If they can improve the secondary with a solid LB corps, the Browns could at least get to 6 wins in 2010.

As long as Eric Mangina is your coach and Delhomme is your starter I cant see the Browns being .500….Got to admit though Josh Cribbs should play QB, RB, WR and Special Teams

Hey MPH, we would welcome a .500 season considering what happened last year haha. 8-8 would be a phenomenal season with what we have. And for the record, I think the Browns will take a QB, just not in the first round unless Holmgren really loves Clausen.

8-8 I guess would be phenomenal for Cleveland but for NFL Standards thats most likely missing the playoffs. Having Holmgren captain your ship is the first move in the right direction but its gonna be a 5yr plan. Curse you Art Modell

I changed my vote, as gibbsreport came out with the better argument in the second round. I don’t think Cleveland likes Clausen at all, but talks are still ongoing about a trade for that top pick.

And I don’t buy the argument that the Browns will have to trade a lot to do this. They give up their 7th overall, and then a player or another mid-round pick. You don’t trade the world away when you have the 7th overall to give back.

The Rams like Bradford, but they sure like Clausen, too, and they wouldn’t mind paying less, getting another pick or player AND getting the guy they actually prefer.

Thanks for the support Hunter. I don’t think the Browns will take Clausen because as Czar Mike said “I wish I liked him more” but I know the Rams have to be itching to get out of the 1st spot and let Cleveland deal with the headache
