My point here; Teams in the Big East that you consider to be nonfactors pick up resume builders.
Big East Tourny still to come.

It may also prove those supposed top Big East teams aren’t as good as you claim them to be.

No other conference has the amount of solid teams like the Big East does in Villanova, Syracuse, West Virginia, and Georgetown. Don’t count out Uconn and Louisville especially with their elite coaches. I really don’t see this competition and strength in any other conference. The Big 12 only contains three teams that will be that competitive during the tournament and only Kansas serves as a legitimate team to make the Sweet 16. Besides Michigan State and Wisconsin I don’t see another team that will likely make it in the Big 10 however, one of them is bound to fall. Ohio State is a bit overrated The ACC does not have the competition it used to have as UNC is now struggling for a spot in the tournament. Assuming they get in, still Duke is the only real option there, and as a jump shooting team they tend to be very streaky and I don’t think they will reach the Sweet 16 as they have failed to do so for the last few years. So out of all of these power conferences it is safe to say the Big East will produce the most sweet 16 teams in the tournament.
