Tebow isn’t a Top 32 pick. Jacksonville doesn’t deserve a franchise to begin with and the Tebow effect would only last as long as it would be for the league to figure out he isn’t a franchise quarterback. He wouldn’t even beat out David Garard for the starting spot anyways. The team is having a decent season and the people of Jacksonville could care less. Let this be the team that moves to LA instead of adding more franchises right now. The league talent level is becoming watered down and talks of adding to the regular season and possibly more franchises will make it worse. Although I don’t mind Tebow’s passion or persona as much as some he won’t be the end all be all as a quarterback in the big boy league.

As far as politicians getting involved, that happens everywhere, so is it really that big of a deal? The answer is yes, but it will never stop. The talk of having something better to do is probably something we all can do better, but if your going to call out this guy you have to call out the Federal government sub-commitee that is calling for the NCAA to have a playoff system for football. That is where more work needs to get done as far as politicians are concerned.
