They maybe a touch on the squishy side, but soft as cakes will be OK now that they’ve hired a lunatic in Ron Artest. He gives them much needed toughness no matter how big or small a player might be.

Health is an issue for every single team. If Duncan goes down so do the Spurs. If Kobe goes down so do the Lakers. So on and so forth. Top to bottom the Lakers have the better overall talent at this point in each of their rosters careers. The Spurs can take the Lakers deep when playoff time comes, but Kobe and crew have just to many weapons for any team in the West to defend.
