Yes Yanks did get better because their boost now to the rotation. And its spring training really does not say much to me!
Yankees got better? Agreed, their pitching rotation got better. In the same regard, the Mariners got better offensively. Did they get a better deal in the trade or not? That is the question.
My opinion, Yankees got better part of deal!
wow tough to vote but yankees can afford to give up some power and then strngthen the bull pen. Yankees are better in the long run with this trade. M's can not rely on a minor leaguer and his stats to lift their franchise. Also, you an't revolve your rotaition around 1 really good pitcher. Both teams could have used both players but yanks got the up-end
I didn't know this stopped after two videos! Dang It! Mariners got an everyday player in Montero. Pineda can only pitch every 5 days. Pineda isn't going to be a 20 game winner in New York! Montero will help the M's win far more than 20 games. Besides that, the Mariners also got Hector Noesi. He will be in our rotation this year and I bet you anything he will have a similar record if not better than Pineda. I know he will have a better record than Pineda did last year.
