Look I love MJ, and right now i think MJ is the better player, but LeBron Def. has the potential to pass Kobe and MJ as the best basketball player to ever live. Like Russell,Wilt, and all the greats, Michael Jordan played in a less competitive basketball era. Today he would have had to face Kobe, Durant, Allen in his prime, Pierce, Iverson,Shaq, LeBron, Wade, and Dwight Howard. Yes, LeBron is playing on a “superteam” but Michael’s team was considered the dream team of the 1990’s. This is just that team of the 2010’s

I’m not saying Lebron doesn’t have that potential, I’m Lebron’s biggest fan. However, I’m stating that Scottie’s claims aren’t true because it sounded like he was saying Lebron is the best right now. This argument is about Scottie’s claims, not necessarily whether Lebron will someday be the best.
