No McSpazz….i do not want to share the same opinion as you…..i could care less if you agree with me. You publicly ripped this website, yet you come back here. You Fredo’d fanvsfan, and i think that its unexcusable….we may argue on here, but you shouldnt be taking it out of the family to the interwebs over a word proccessor or developer or anything like that. I have no idea what your problems with the administrators are, but if you didnt like it, you should have just thanked them for giving you an extra platform to promote your site and left gracefully. Instead you resorted to what you resorted to, and i think its highly uncool…but hey, thats just me (well, maybe more than me).

Off the bat I thought I was going to disagree with you Tito but you make some good points. I don’t think Pierce is hands down top 3 currently but when his career is over he might very well be

Wow. First of all, it’s Russel first, then Bird, and there’s no discussion. 11 rings including one as a player/coach.
Second, after Russel and Bird, it’s Havlicek and McHale. Hondo won 8 titles (and was the Finals MVP in 74), first team all-defense 5 times, he has the most career assists for a non guard, he’s 2nd all time in minutes played, and he ended his career as an all-time top 5 scorer. He’d be the #1 guy on almost any other team.
And McHale was probably the best low-post scorer ever (plus he has 3 rings) 3 time 1st-team all defense and was the 2nd best player on one of the 2 best teams of all time (86 Celts). He only played 13 seasons but he completely dominated for 7 or 8 of them. You can’t say that about Pierce.
You wanna argue who comes next between Cousy and Pierce, by all means fight it out, but neither of them belong ahead of Hondo or McHale. And honestly I’d give the edge to Cousy, because he was really the only standout pg until Oscar showed up. There wasn’t anyone else doing the things he did. Not to take anything away from Pierce but there are probably ten guys in the league who put up similar or better numbers than him. He is not an all-time top 3 Celtic, and he’s got a long way to go to get there.

I love mcHale…but to put him ahead of pierce is laughable…if you were gonna start a team you would choose McHale over Pierce? McHale cant lead a team, Pierce can.Ummm…yeah, you have some NBA tapes to watch buddy…McHale best low post scorer ever??Ever hear of Hakeem Olajuwon How about David Robinson?? Shaquille O’Neal?? KareemAre you kidding me? He played on great teams so really couldnt be double teamed like Pierce has been his whole career….and as far as McHale being the second best player on a great team, the 2008 Celtics were a great team, and Pierce was the #1 of that team…plus, McHale for his size, was actually kinda of a pussy under the boards….7 rebs per game for his career? are you kidding me??

This is all opinion here, but Bob Cousy? Are you serious? I will actually agree with Tito here, Pierce would be in my top 3 Celtics of all time. He gets much less rocognition, because of some many years on sub-par teams. Like Tito says, pierce has been a monster since entering the league and has been consistent as any player his age. Score this one for Tito.
