Look, this Super Bowl is gonna be great. Yes it will be cold! oh well NFC and AFC championship can be played in the cold, but the Super Bowl can’t? It has nothing to due with New York though….It’s not even in NY. Fans are passionate everywhere. Complaints that the Super Bowl is a party and you can’t party in the cold. That is stupid!!!The true fans that show up to there teams games ever week, no matter what the conditions…..There will be parties and there will be crap loads of fans……Finally we may have epic battles, yet again!!!!

This isn’t just ANY game…this is a whole week of partying…and an expensive week at that. Sure, watching football in the elements is fun…but is anyone out there who is not from NY/NJ going to drop that kind of cash to spend a week in Jersey IN FEBRUARY?! At least the powers that be did the fans a favor in one respect…no one will be bidding $1000 to get tickets on ebay. The only reason anyone would want to go to Jersey in Februay…is to catch a connection flight to get the hell out of there.

Just to add a little thing: I insinuated that this could open it up to other cities and I hope it does. This way the Super Bowl can be enjoyed by all the great cities across the land. Every city has the capability of holding it (or at least all the big ones we’re all thinking of) and it’ll be great to see football get back to its roots a little bit.

Cold is cold. If your argument is that weather will afect the way teams play then NO games should ever be played in any other type of stadium unless it has a roof. That is dumb! Dude you call it retarded. What if its sunny 40 degrees and a bit windy. Sounds like a great day for football. And about Jersey sure the stadium is in Jersey and its great since NJ can accomodate the fans that come who don’t want to spend their life savings in NYC. So this Super Bowl will be more for the fan. Giants season tickets been in my family since 1930 and we have never complained about weather. Heres something for you… you can always put another layer on but you can not always take another layer off. In case you don’t get it you can’t be naked if its over 100 degrees down in Tampa and what if your in Tampa it is so hot that the running team’s best player gets a cramp and can’t play. Then do you think playing in the hot weather is RETARDED!!! Play the game!!!

SouthShore: I know what your saying…it would be great to see the Super Bowl at the Browns new stadium. But I got to be honest…the weather is so brutal here in February that I don’t even want to be here (so I know nobody outside of NE Ohio does). If the SB were held in December – ok; but not in February – nobody would want to leave their hotel room.

I’m calling East coast bias here on the Fan Vs Fan Network. I wanna know how many of you New Yorkers will really want to be at the game. You want to be sitting there in Febuary with a forzen beer in your hand. I can’t wait to see whatever old rock band the NFL will pick to do halftime to refuse to go onstage because the cold is killing them. I live in Chicago have no problem with the cold which is why I buy season tickets holders seats in December.

This will either be great or it will be an epic failure. Better start praying now that Global Warning kicks in

OK has it ever been 100 degrees in Tamps the first week of February. That is the stupidest point ever
