Yes, the Cavs will we the Cental easily, but it will be an interesting battle for second between Chicago and Detroit. Living in the Chicago area the Rose ankle injury is getting worrisome and could linger for much of the season. Though Detroit will be much worse than previous years look for BG to win game late much like he did in Chicago.

The second place finisher will be the team that plays better defense throughout the season and we have to give the edge to Chicago, because BG plays defense like a matador.

This recording would be better suited as a fancast rather than a debate claim. Not much debate here especially since the only legit Eastern Conference rep is the Cavs.

I can understand where he is coming from, but this can absolutely work as a debate. He thinks Detroit has a shot, I disagree. Look, I know what he’s trying to say, I just don’t agree. Chicago won 41 games last year, Luol Deng was hurt, Rose was a rookie, etc. Detroit added a few nice players, but they won 39 games last year, are those guys really going to make that big of an impact? This isn’t the Detroit team that contended year after year. Chicago is on the way up, Detroit is stagnant.

Getroit is back on a down swing, but the Bulls will suffer from losing BG. He was terrible defensively, but could get hot as anyone and lead a team to 5-10 victories a year.

The Bulls are without tgat and stuck witg a bunch a streaky shooters. Rose, is going to be a terrific player, but he needs to improve his shot and defense to become elite. We’ll all have to wait and see if that’s what he worked on this summer or if he was busy having someone else do it for him ala the SAT. A jumpshooting team is up and down and that we’ll be the case for both Detroit and Chicago.

You can debate anything, but maybe the claim should be worded different than NBA Central Division preview. Something like the Chicago Bulls have 2nd place in the bag.
