Russell even had better stats then Leaf
Jamarcus: 4.083 yards 18 TDS 23 Ints QB rating 65.2 , completed 52.1% of his passes in 31 games
Leaf: 3,666 yards (seriously 666 you can’t make that up) 14 TDs 36 Ints QB rating of 50, completed 48.4% of his passes in 25 games
Ryan’s contract can not compare to Russell but he received the largest amount of a signing bonus at that time

Gotta go with Gibbs on this. Mel Kiper Jr.sold his draft-expert sould when he said Leaf was the better QB prospect, and Leaf bombed.
Russel is bad (really bad), but he doesn’t touch Leaf.
I mean, on top of sucking, having a short career, and failing to compare to Manning, Leaf’s personal life has even turned to mush.
