you think you know what the Islanders will do, you think Murphy is amazing…He will never be able to score that many goals in the NHL, hes not going to be a scorer, and hes a small compared to other D’s…

We dont know what the islanders will do.. I never said I KNOW FOR SURE! This is just an idea of what i want and think the right move would be.

Although when it comes to overall skill, there are better players ahead of Murphy in the draft. With Adam Larsson probably going 1st or 2nd overall, Ryan Murphy will be arguably the best defenseman still up for grabs when the Islanders come up at #5. So if a skilled d-man is what the Isles are looking for than don’t be surprised if Ryan Murphy’s name is the one being announced by Garth Snow and the New York Islanders on Friday night.
