Halladay was the best pitcher in the American league, now moving to a weaker National he’ll be even better. The move may be lateral, but only time will tell and the Phillis got Halladay’s extension at a relatively decent price in baseball money terms. There is where I feel the decision was made for the Phillies.
Matt, admit your a little bitter that the Yankees couldn’t pull off a deal for Halladay. Its only natural for the rich to be greedy and not getting him for the Yankees is a bit of a disappointment for all Yankee fans.

I agree with you on this 100%! They were able to keep both from what I heard. Lee’s agent wasn’t trying to hold them hostage and demand the moon! Lee was on his game in the series!
