Lets remember there are three phases to football; offense, defense and special teams. While the Jets did get better on defense with the addition of Cromartie they are running a dark ages offense. The defense won’t be able to stop everybody and you have to score points at some time and what they have at quarterback and receiver doesn’t equal Super Bowl just yet. Sanchez may get there, but Edwards, Cotchery and crew can not be counted on to help you win a championship.

I agree with Matt that while Peppers was the big signing the Taylor deal will end up getting the Bears to the playoffs. Now they have two quality backs, Martz will find ways to get the ball to them and possibly have them on the field at the same time. The Manumaleuna deal was big too, he is basically on extra offensive lineman and Cutler will sleep much better knowing he’ll be looking down the field more than up at that sky.

As far as the Peppers money. It is desperation time in Chicago not only for the Bears coaching and managment staff, but also the ownership who must prove to the Bears masses that the team is more than just a cash cow for them, that they care about winning also. It’s only money and the Bears make plenty of it, once a new CBA is done all of these contacts will be grandfathered in and won’t effect a new salary cap, whatever it may turn out to be. As long as a rookie cap is in place I’ll be happy. Three years without the playoffs wouldn’t be accepted in any other large city and 25 year without a championship has the city yearning for BearDown success.

The Jets had better hope GOOD Cromartie shows up, not CLUB HO Cromartie. With all the nookie in the greater NY area now at his disposal, Cromartie may well father his own football team, as in 22 starters. Ho’s love stupid millionaires….

The Bears are never going anywhere with Cutler at QB, even if Peppers racks up 20 sacks.

Bears made GREAT moves will it win them a Super Bowl?… NO… The Jets made OK moves… But please MPH your team got hot at the right time and probably shouldn’t even got a sniff of the playoffs if it weren’t for the Colts tanking that game! S.D. clearly was the better team and you got lucky cause Norv Turner crapped his pants AGAIN! and he SD72grees how many rings does your team got? and how many the Raiders got? hahahahaha your team is the biggest losers in the world!… your team has been to 1 Super Bowl (1994’ 17 seasons ago) since 1960! WOW your team is GOOD! Division Championships don’t mean SHIT! the nuttless boltless Chargers will never win shit!

Oh yeah MPH good luck but next year your team will be lucky to be a wildcard at best! Now don’t be mad at me I think you’re cool bro! just getting you prepared!
