I know, I know, who cares, right?  Well, I do, and for the other diehard Edmonton Oilers fans out there, I'm hoping for some excitement and energy coming from the last six games of the season.

Tonight we face the Minnesota Wild, a team who has just snapped an eight-game losing streak.  The Wild's playoff hopes are so dim, though, that it's possible Tuesday's win against the St. Louis Blues will do little to light a fire under them for tonight's game.  This gives the Oilers hope that they could pull off a win tonight, despite their abysmal 10-game winless skid.  Edmonton can also look at their road-win record against Minnesota for inspiration, being two for two this season.
