The NFC West is definitely making headlines. The Seahawks traded Matt Flynn to Oakland, frees up cap space, but leaves them with no backup QB. Look for Vince Young, Tyler Thigpen, or Matt Leinhart to be given the chance to win the backup job until the front office drafts a young QB with upside. Arizona Cardinals trade for Carson Palmer. Not sure how much he has left, but he is better than John Skeleton, Kevin Kolb, and Ryan Lindley. The Cards needed a QB to handle the defenses in the west, make them competitive, and not get killed 58-0. Palmer should make Larry Fitzgerald relevant again.San Francisco 49ers just signed Nnamdi Asomugha one year deal. He might play hard to get that multi year deal.
