Here is our second installment to bring you closer to some of the lesser known faces that grace NFL sidelines on Sunday afternoons.
Who could this man be?
- Is he a junior high school physical education teacher?
- Could he be your next door neighbor?
- Does he belong to a nudist colony?
- Does he tape players ankles on the sideline?
- Is it possible he really likes Wendy's?
Well, 1, 2, 4 do not connect this man to football, but in a round about way 3 and 5 do. This man is Jacksonville Jaguars defensive line coach Joe Cullen. He became famous while holding the same position in Detroit under Rod Marinelli. Cullen was arrested for DUI after the police were alerted by a Wendy's employee after he drove through their drive-thru naked. He served a two game suspension for the incident and has since joined AA. After a year away from the NFL he was hired by Jack Del Rio. Last season he worked for Idaho State University which seems like the perfect place to be an alcoholic that enjoys driving naked. It may even be common place in Pocatello, ID.
