Dwyane Wade is suddenly changing his course of plans and is actually considering all of his options during free agency. Everyone thought Wade would be re-signing with the Heat right away, but I guess not. The three teams that he is intrigued by are the Bulls, Heat, and Knicks.
He has met with the Chicago Bulls twice in two days. He is hesitant to play for his hometown team though due to loyalty issues.
I think he could get over that easily with a great team. Obviously, he could entice another max free agent to the windy city like Chris Bosh or LeBron James.
Then, Miami offers him mostly everything he desires. They actually could get two max free agents with Wade in Miami.
Pat Riley will come down and coach for the Heat. Who wouldn't want to play for one of the greatest NBA coaches of all time? Wade would love to be back in South Beach.
The Knicks offer a lot for Dwyane Wade. They have a verbal agreement from Amar'e Stoudemire, so that could bring him even closer to NYC.
He could roam free with Stoudemire in a wide open offense. Mike D'Antoni would make Wade an even better player I think.
If I were Dwyane Wade, I would sign with the New York Knicks. They offer a lot of great things for him to succeed. Even though most think he will stay with Miami, I think otherwise.
With both Wade and Stoudemire, look for multiple title banners being raised in Madison Square Garden in the near future, if this happens.
