After a season where the Huskers won 10 games, finished ranked in the top 15, and came a second short of winning the Big 12 and going to a BCS bowl, you have to think that the bar will be raised. That is, if Nebraska were to simply duplicate the 2009 season they would in some way fall short of a goal for the 2010 season. But what will that benchmark need to be to say 2010 was a success?

Is 11 wins (any way it comes) the goal? That would probably put Nebraska in the top 10 nationally. If it didn't put Nebraska in a BCS bowl, it would likely mean a Cotton or Holiday Bowl appearance.
