~~Today, news broke out that LeBron James notified the Heat that he is opting out of his contract, making him a free agent this summer. This changes the landscape of free agency this summer and the landscape of the NBA for years to come. Many teams are bound to go after LeBron in free agency, but it is ultimately his decision. So, where should he take his talents.

At this point, LeBron's decision won't be based on money. He's chasing titles, so his decision will be based on the team itself. LeBron probably opted out of his contract in Miami because he realizes that he didn't have a strong enough supporting cast. That's why he left Cleveland. So, I think we can rule out a team like the Lakers as an option for the King.

It would be exciting to see LeBron in a Rockets uniform, but I don't think that it would be the best option for LeBron. It would just tarnish his legacy even more. The moment he chose to ''take his talents" to South Beach, LeBron ruined his legacy. He's never going to change the way people feel about his career. So, I think we can rule out a team like the Rockets as well. Plus, I don't know whether he would fit in in an environment like Houston. The way I see it, the Rockets are a team of selfish superstars that aren't going anywhere soon.

With that said, I think Cleveland is the right way to go if you're LeBron. Sure, the fans hate him now, but they'll come to accept him again. He's LeBron. Wherever he goes, the fans in that city are going to embrace him. I don't know if there's any chance that LeBron can win a title with a team like Cleveland, but there's an opportunity for growth. This team has a lot of potential, especially if they can find success in this year's draft. I think that LeBron and Kyrie Irving could be a lethal combination.

When all is set and done, I don't think that James will end up back in Cleveland. In my opinion, he should, but he won't. He'll end up going to a team like Chicago, where he can once again be part of a core of great players. Like I said, LeBron is chasing championships, so he wants a good supporting cast. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
