Earlier today, before the MLB's winter meetings really even started, the Washington Nationals announced that they had signed Jayson Werth to a seven-year, $126 million contract.  Of course, this comes as a surprise to most, as the Red Sox looked to be the favorite in the Jayson Werth sweepstakes.  This move means that the Phillies will now receive high round draft picks from the Nationals, which is great considering their bad record last year. Now some of you, probably most of you are sitting, reading, thinking "Is he an idiot?  The Nationals are horrible!"  Yet, in my mind, this is actually an incredibly smart move by Werth.  Yes he could have gone to the Phillies, or Red Sox, or another big name team.  But though they may be good now,...
