Every week, SportsTradex hosts a free prediction game for a handful of key NFL matchups and previews the football weekend using numbers based on the opinions of a large fan audience.
Week 8 Key Matchups with current probability to win:
Jets (40%) – Bengals (60%)
Redskins (21%) – Broncos (79%)
Cowboys (46%) – Lions (54%)
Eagles (60%) – Giants (40%)
Pivotal October Football: It seems reckless to label a game “must win” before Halloween. But the Cowboys-Lions game is as close as it gets for two marginal playoff contenders. The Cowboys are underdogs in the SportsTradex prediction game as fans give the slight edge (54%) to Detroit at home. Dallas has not been a SportsTradex favorite in any featured game outside the division but has been favored but has been the favorite in all NFC East showdowns. A loss here keeps the NFC East door cracked open. The Lions play 2 straight on the road after their Week 9 bye. The Dallas-Detroit winner will move towards the playoffs and the loser will need to put together a stellar second half to the season.
Bronco Bounce: The SportsTradex market expects a big bounce back from Denver following last Sunday night’s emotional loss in Indianapolis. The fans’ predictions clearly demonstrate that the Broncos are still considered a one of the two best teams in the league (the other is Seattle). 79% ties the highest level of confidence any team received all season. Peyton missed practice Wednesday and RGIII is returning to health. Both should play well Sunday in favorable matchups. The Redskins can score with the Broncos and it is possible they have been disrespected after a terrible start.
