The NFL season started off with a bang, I think that was the best opening weekend I've seen. There were at least 5 games if not more that were must see in my opinion. The best game was obviously the Washington Redskins beating the Dallas Cowboys 13-7 in coach Mike Shanahan's debut here in the Nations Capital. New England came out and made a political statement against the Cincinnati Bengals and raced out to a 24-0 lead and was never threatened as they rolled to a 38-24 win. I think they are the team to beat in the AFC and they will have another good team to face this weekend when they face the New York Jets in New York. No hype is needed in this grudge match, I say this is the best game of the week! There is going to be many hard hits and I wouldn't be shocked to see 3 or 4 personal fouls, but the refs will call it tight and try not to lose control. The Jets can't afford to fall to 0-2 in the tough AFC. The Pittsburgh Steelers got a nice win over the Atlanta Falcons!
