Vancouver 2, Detroit 1

The Canucks showed once again why they are the team to beat in the NHL, knocking off the Wings. Daniel Sedin scored twice and Roberto Luongo made 39 saves for the win, essentially stealing this one for Vancouver. The Wings really pressed in this one but Luongo was very solid. That was the difference. Daniel hit 40 goals tonight with his effort.

Anaheim 4, Dallas 3, OT

Rookie defenseman Cam Fowler scored the OT winner to give the Ducks a huge two points and a real good shot at making the playoffs. The 8th goal of the year for the kid that no one wanted on draft day after being projected to go 4th overall. Great for him. Fowler also got an assist in the game and has 34 points now on the year.
