There is no way on earth that Wade Phillips didn't know it was coming, the Dallas Cowboys are a complete train wreck and getting worse! Owner Jerry Jones had to do something to shake things up and head coach Wade Phillips is the first to disappear. Now with this season is over, the rebuilding process will begin. There is a lot more that needs to be done with the roster, but during the season there is only so much you can do. So the heavy lifting won't begin until early February, but this is the first move. Now offensive coordinator Jason Garrett gets his shot at being a head coach for the rest of the year to prove himself to Jerry Jones and whether or not he can do the job, thanks Jerry. This season never seemed to get started for this team as they now sit at 1-7 and appear to be in a battle with the Buffalo Bills and Carolina Panthers for the #1 pick in next April's NFL Draft. This season was supposed to be about becoming the 1st team to ever host and play in the Super Bowl in the same season, not rebuilding and watching QB Tony Romo walk the sidelines in street clothes and the disappearance of head coach Wade Phillips!
