Vanderbilt held off LSU's 9th inning charge to win today's game 4-3. Sonny Gray finished the weekend much better then he started it, coming on to relieve Jack Armstong's stellar 7 2/3 outing, by getting the final 4 outs to seal the deal. LSU entered the weekend ranked #15. With their win, Vanderbilt moves to 12-10 in conference play, who needed this win after losing the Tennessee series in heart-breaking fashion 2 weeks ago. That Vanderbilt's two games against Georgia were canceled could hurt the Commodores come seeding time for the SEC Tournament in a few weeks. Vanderbilt needs to win their series in Starkville next weekend, and ideally, beat Arkansas at Hawkins Field to finish the season. But before all that though, Vanderbilt will host a Louisville Tuesday night at Hawkins Field....
