Almost back on track here at Touchdown Dance after a long week of caregiving, child rearing and trying to keep or find my sanity.
There is two news worthy story at the moment where an East Coast team does their best to angry a very large and strong man. Now we can add an end of an era in sunny San Diego where the Chargers released a future HOFer.
- New England Patriots
The Patriots placed the franchise tag on the very large and massively talented (DT) Vince Wilfork. This for sure will encite an eruption from the huge head of Wilfork who has said that the placement of the franchise tag could bring bad feelings and long holdouts.
- San Diego Chargers
The Chargers released (RB) LaDainian Tonlinson today. While the move is no big surprise as LT has fallen off far from his once lofty production. Now the rumors of where he will land if anywhere will begin.
It is a sad day for Charger fans as they lose one of the best ever. Now the face of the franchise belongs solely to Phillip Rivers. He as much as Jay Cutler has a sour puss face and rarely does he get brow beaten like his arch enemy does. Why is that? Must be that he is marginally better looking than Cutler. At least in my wife's eyes. Damn I hate that Phillip Rivers!
