If you were looking for some action from Spurs during this transfer window, you got it this week.  There have been many changes at White Hart Lane and the feeling is it will continue.

Finally there is a striker signing and familiar face Emmanuel Adebayor has come back from Manchester City.  He's not the big name, but his recent history with the club brings some excitement.  We won't have to put up with the "transition" period transfers tend to have.  He didn't log many minutes in the pre-season so we'll have to see if he's got his legs, unlike last year when he found the net in his debut.  An overlooked aspect of Ade's game is the ability to find his teammates as evidenced to his clutch assists he had last season.

A few Spurs departed the club this week, including Sebastien Bassong to Norwich.  After one good season he never really competed for minutes and fell out of favor with manager Andre Villas Boas.  Also, Tom Huddlestone appears headed to Stoke on loan.  I'm slightly disappointed, as I mentioned in the season preview that I wanted to see how he could fit in this season.  Finally, Michael Dawson is rumored to be on his way to QPR.  Oddly, he was the team's captain in the opener and a fan favorite but AVB has a plan I guess.

There's still a week left in this transfer window and I fully expect Spurs to be busy.

Next game: West Bromwich Albion 9:00ct at White Hart Lane
