Brian Scalabrine has agreed to a non-guaranteed deal with Chicago, a league source tells Y! He's considered a good bet to make roster.
Hopefully I wake up tomorrow without tears in my eyes, because right now I just can't handle this. Scal was my boy! Just look at the picture of him and I at a game this season (please ignore the fact I look like a goon).
It just won't be the same going to the TD Garden and not seeing Scal. Man, this is heartbreaking. And to think he is going to be on another contending team devestates me even more. Ahhh! This is like a nightmare, and I'm NOT joking.
What the hell are the Celtics going to do with that exercise bike in the tunnel that Scal was often seen using? Who is Rondo going to play one-on-one against before games? Who is going to sign autographs for all the little kiddies screaming "Scal, Scal, Scal!!!" before games?
I never thought this would happen, and it did. Scal made his decision and I probably won't be able to sleep tonight because of it.
