After having roughly 20 regular participants in last years GJ Pick'em, we couldn't help but bring it back and shoot for bigger and better things. We are going to continue tweaking it, not simply for the sake of change, but so it is the most fun for everyone involved.
This year we are going to have both a Blog Battle and an Individual Battle.
Blog Battle: Represent your blog and prove to everyone that you are the most intelligent (or lucky) Blog out there. These rankings and prizes will be held seperate from Individual Rankings.
Individual Battle: This will be the same setup as last year. You will take on all other participants as you try to guess the most correct games throughout the year.
If you are new to the system, it's not a difficult game. All you do is visit the site every week, fill our your form, and watch the games to see how well you are doing. It is set up in a football pool like format where all you do is select which team is going to win each game.
This year we aren't going to bombard you with selections for 20 games or even 15.. Instead we are going to take the best game every regular night, and combine that with every nationally televised game to make up the weekly selections. This way you won't have to take forever filling out the form (to a point where you get bored), and hopefully you will be more interested keeping up with the scores.
