Ben Scrivens stopped 23 shots and Slava Voynov scored a goal and added an assist for the Kings in a 3-2 victory over the Islanders. Tyler Toffoli and Tanner Pearson also scored for the Kings.
Kevin Poulin allowed three goals on 24 shots and Casey Cizikas scored his first goal of the season for the Islanders in their 3-2 loss to the Kings. Defenseman Aaron Ness scored his first NHL goal.
Bruins 3 Blue Jackets 2 OT
Chad Johnson allowed two goals on 34 shots and Milan Lucic scored the overtime winner for Boston in a 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets Thursday night. Shawn Thornton and Loui Eriksson also scored for the Bruins.
Sergei Bobrovsky made 28 saves and Nick Foligno scored his fourth goal of the season Thursday night, but the Blue Jackets were beaten by Boston in overtime by a score of 3-2. Blake Comeau also scored for the Blue Jackets.
Lightning 5 Ducks 1
Ben Bishop made 24 saves and Martin St. Louis scored a goal and added two assists in a 5-1 win over the Ducks on Thursday. Valtteri Filppula scored two goals in the victory as well as goals from Alex Killorn and Victor Hedman.
Jonas Hiller allowed five goals on just 20 shots and Emerson Etem scored the only goal for Anaheim in a 5-1 loss to the Lightning.
Blues 7 Avalanche 3
Jaroslav Halak allowed three goals on 24 shots and Alexander Steen scored two goals for the Blues in Thursday's 7-3 win over the Avs. Derek Roy and David Backes each picked up a goal and two assists and T.J. Oshie dished out four assists in the win. Jay Bouwmeester, Vladimir Tarasenko and Chris Stewart also scored for the Blues.
Jean-Sebastien Giguere gave up five goals on 23 shots and Ryan O'Reilly scored a goal and added an assist for the Avalanche in a 7-3 loss to St. Louis Thursday night. Nathan MacKinnon and Matt Duchene also scored for the Avs.
Blackhawks 5 Coyotes 4 S/O
Corey Crawford allowed four goals on 30 shots and Patrick Sharp scored his fifth goal of the season in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win over Phoenix. Marian Hossa, Brandon Pirri and Brandon Saad all scored goals for Chicago.
Mike Smith gave up four goals on 52 shots and Michael Stone scored a pair of goals for the Coyotes in Thursday's 5-4 shootout loss to Chicago. Shane Doan and Lauri Korpikoski also scored for the Coyotes.
Stars 7 Flames 3
Kari Lehtonen turned aside 25 of 28 shots and Tyler Seguin scored four goals and registered an assist in Dallas' 7-3 win over Calgary Thursday night. Jamie Benn scored a goal and registered five assists, Stephane Robidas and Ryan Garbutt scored also for the Stars, while defenseman Alex Goligoski added three helpers in the victory.
Reto Berra allowed four goals on only 17 shots and Matt Stajan scored two goals in Calgary's 7-3 loss to Dallas. David Jones had a goal and an assist for the Flames in the loss.
Sharks 2 Canucks 1
Antti Niemi stopped 34 of 35 shots and Dan Boyle scored a goal and registered an assist to lead the Sharks to a 2-1 OT victory over the Canucks Thursday night. Tomas Hertl also scored for the Sharks.
Roberto Luongo turned aside 28 of 30 shots and Kevin Bieksa scored a goal in Vancouver's 2-1 overtime loss to San Jose Thursday night.
