The Atlanta Thrashers took to the ice in Raleigh tonight for a Southeast Division showdown against the Carolina Hurricanes for their first match-up of the season. Coming into the game, the Thrashers had a day of rest after defeating the Red Wings in a shutout on Wednesday night.
