After losing to the Indianapolis Colts last night the Redskins fall to 3-3 on the season with 10 games left and lots of questions. There are questions on both sides of the ball, but the most glaring are on the defensive side. This defense has been in the NFL's top 10 in 8 of the last 10 years and is looking nothing like a top 10 unit this year as the team is switching to a 3-4 scheme under new coordinator Jim Haslett. New head coach Mike Shanahan decided to make the switch to the 3-4 during his year out of football and watching games as a fan. The Redskins are struggling so far in their transition to this scheme and are ranked #32 in total defense in the 32 team NFL. The defense is giving up an average of 420 yards per game and looking downright lost at times. The team doesn't have the right players for the 3-4 scheme and it's really showing and will continue to do so as the season moves on. What is the deal with Albert Haynesworth and the coaching staff? Will he be part of the defense or a very expensive statue on the sideline as the season marches on?
