The New York Knicks reportedly have offered Amar'e Stoudemire a five year, 100 million dollar contract. Stoudemire is flying to New York Monday to work on this deal. This is great if your a Knicks fan.
Stoudemire could entice LeBron James to sign with New York. Also, he gives LeBron a great sidekick to him to make him even great.
Amar'e Stoudemire has talked to the Suns about re-signing, but talks broke off earlier this week. I think it's the best choice for him anyway.
If Amar'e goes to New York, you know one of the top free agents will follow. The question is who will actually join him in New York? LeBron James is too hard to hard to break through and see what he will do in a few days.
One player that should go away from his plan and join Amar'e in New York is Dwyane Wade. He had a metting with the Knicks yesterday and said he is in a "New York State of Mind."
This makes sense for the Knicks when you have two great players in the frontcourt and backcourt. Wade and Stoudemire would play their original posistions in New York.
The Knicks could be actually title contenders if they can pull off bringing in both Amar'e Stoudemire and Dwyane Wade. If your a Knicks fan, I would be jumping in joy by how they are doing so far in the first few days of free agency.
Mike D'Antoni and Donnie Walsh's plan A is obviously LeBron James, but they are putting together great side plans to make the Knicks a great team in the 2010-2011 season.
