It's slim pickings as to good matches in today's schedule. Actually, I'll take that back. It's slim pickings for good American mens' matches in Day 3, but that could be because there are only 3 left and only 1 plays today. The match that stands out, of course, is the Q-ball-Gulbis match, The Thousand Oaks smasher vs the Riga whiz. This is a match of two severe under-achievers in slams, particularly over the last two years (actually, much longer for the Rich Kid, who's been to only 1 3rd Rd of a slam in his last 20 slams). The Valley Kid isn't much better, but compared to Gulbis he's the Rod Laver of slam performance.
