While much of the focus these past few weeks has been on the players who were new to the team this year. It makes sense. Once the season's over fans naturally focus on what's next. But the newest signees aren't the only thing new for the 2010 Huskers. What's also new (and will arguably have a much greater impact), is the number of players coming off of their redshirt season. It means the coaches will have every incentive to include them on the field as there's no eligibility to lose.

Jason Ankrah was a four-star defensive end prospect in 2009. With the loss of Barry Turner, a spot on the the two deep will be opening up.
