Home.On April 28, 2012, I wrote an article saying that, personally, I believed the Islanders would stay because Nassau County would get its act together and strike a deal with Charles Wang. I was wrong.In this same article, I stated,  "I don't think Wang wants to sell. I think he actually wants to be here. He's also losing a lot of money every year. He's a fan, but it's also his business. If the County wants to test him, then he will leave. There's no time for games other than the one on the ice." It appears the clock has run out, and a lot sooner than I thought it would. The New York Islanders will be moving to Brooklyn.
