If a number of women’s groups have anything to say about it, the Tim Tebow Super Bowl commercial won’t happen at all. The Women’s Media Center has led a charge to convince CBS to pull the ad before it gets a chance to air. They believe an ad with that particular message has no place in the Super Bowl, stating: “An ad that uses sports to divide rather than to unite has no place in the biggest national sports event of the year – an event designed to bring Americans together.” I thought the Super Bowl was an event designed to determine the champion of the NFL and, oh yeah, sell beer, but what do I know?
