The Los Angeles Dodgers (the only team that is actually located in L.A…but I digress) have made some very curious moves this winter. And yes, I think I’m using the word curious rather generously here. From signing 34 year old Mark Ellis to a 2 year deal, spending 4.5 million dollars on a rather useless age 33 Juan Rivera, giving a 2 year major league deal to Tony Gwynn Jr., giving another 2 year deal to 35 year old Jerry Hairston Jr., and signing 36 year old Adam Kennedy, I can’t help but question their player evaluations. However, the Dodgers did make at least one savvy move in the inking of Harang, a move that I think has a ton of reward potential.
