With the NBA season a few months away, There is one thing that each NBA team must become very concerned about. The Boston Celtics are geared up to win another NBA Championship.
Since the 2010 season ended, the Celtic Brass has been putting the pieces in place for another run at Banner 18:
Paul Pierce
The C's resigned "The Truth" to a 4 year deal. The Captain will be back & ready to lead the team to battle in 2010-11. Paul's clutch all around play will be tough for any team to handle. the 2008 Finals MVP is a true champion and is hungry to add a 2nd ring to his collection of honors. He will eventually retire as Celtic and become a true Boston legend. His #34 will definitely be retired and hanging from the Rafters of the Garden someday.
Ray Allen
Ray Allen is excited to be back in Boston and so is the Celtics Nation. The best pure shooter in the game returns to give Doc Rivers and company a solid weapon from beyond the Arc. His perimeter shooting accurancy is a true asset & he is also automatic from the Free Throw line.
Shaq, Jermaine, & Nate
"The Big Shamrock" brings a dominant presence on the boards and a solid inside scoring touch. Jermaine is another threat in the lane. He can score & rebound effectively. The O'Neals will erase the problems in the paint that the C's had last year and just wait until Perk comes back. That's what I call inside depth. Nate gives the Celtics energy off the bench. Just look back to Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals & Game 4 of NBA Finals to prove this fact. He is a solid all around scorer. I can't wait to see Nate in a Celtics uniform for a full season. Look out!
Doc Rivers
Doc returns as the C's Head Coach for the upcoming season. He is a great coach and a super motivater. He has led the organization to two NBA Finals trips in the last three years and the club's 17th Banner. He is one of the best coaches in basketball.
Great job Danny Ainge. The Celtic Nation is pumped and ready for Opening Night on October 26th.
