We all know the raining champ of disappointment this season is the Dallas Cowboys but they aren't alone. There's more than enough disgust to go around. Here are the lead dogs in the "you are the weakest link" category.
1. Dallas Cowboys- The Cowboys are holding down 1-6 and really think they still have a chance at the playoffs. Well they still thought so at 1-5. The playoffs bid is done for but it's really time to focus on changing up the leaders of the team. Time for a new coach and QB. Romo is a huge disappointment and that will only continue. With the talent they have on that team there really is no excuse.
2. Minnesota Vikings- Well I don't know where to start. They are currently 2-5 and Favre is a non factor. His performance is weak and Childress has no coaching skills what-so-ever! Childress proved himself to be petty and childish in his release of WR Moss this week. Brett can't seem to stay healthy enough to play the entire game and when he is in, he can't lead his team to a victory.
3. Cincinnati Bengals- I said it last year. I said it at the beginning of this season and I'll say it again now. The winning season the Bengals had last year was a fluke. Having Batman aka Owens and Robin aka Ochocinco on your team should spell VICTORY but T.O is showing his butt off really have a great season and Chad isn't doing much at all. Palmer isn't even a top 15 QB and has to find his play makers to give the team a chance.
4. San Francisco 49ers- The 49ers are sloppy and have disappointed me to the point that I won't comment any further.
5. Denver Broncos- Denver has never been a team on my radar of the best in the NFL and I guess this season proves why. They suck! In the pack with many of the other losers on this list at 2-6, Denver has talent at QB so they may be able to flip this season around.
6. Carolina Panthers- Wow! I never knew they were this bad. I have a friend that loves this team and because of him (shout out to Carlton), I pay attention this season. 1-6 has him living in embarrassment right now with friends like me that support the Ravens, Redskins and Steelers. If I were a Carolina fan I would be pissy too. They need to cut everyone on the team that represents the QB position and that's where they should start. Then they need to score more than 10 points in a game to try and at least compete with the leagues best. In 6 of their losses this season, the Panthers have failed to score more than 10 points in four of them. My local little league team scores more than 10 points in a game.
7. Arizona Cardinals- Utterly Ridiculous! What in the world happened to this team? Oh wait, Warner retired. Well, they better find them a QB because what they have isn't working and Larry Fitzgerald isn't playing that well "in my eyes" this season so they need to pick up Moss and drop the QB if you ask me. They can have Flacco!
8. San Diego Chargers- The Chargers are the only team on this list of misfits that can still make the playoffs in my eyes. I think their season will turn around but they made a mistake getting rid of LT and have paid for it since.
9. Washington Redskins- The Skins are 4-4. My problem with them is they win against teams they are supposed to lose to and lose against teams that they are supposed to beat up on. The coach is my biggest problem right now. Shanahan may be on the pipe. Since Sunday after benching McNabb he has made some choices like working out Russell that make one wonder if he has lost his damn mind.
10. Buffalo Bills- Poor things are 0-7 and I don't see the light of day for this season. I think they should just stay healthy and try again next season.
